Overview
1. Original of the Document:
The Embassy only provides consular attestation for document issues in:
The United Arab Emirates (UAE); The Socialist Republic of Vietnam; The Lao People's Democratic Republic (Laos).
2. Language Requirements:
All documents submitted for consular attestation must be drafted or officially translated into either English; or Arabic.
Documents prepared in any other language will not be accepted.
Requirements for Personal Documents:
- Documents must first be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the country in which they were issued before being submitted to the Embassy.
- Applicants are required to demonstrate the intended use of the document in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by providing relevant supporting documents, such as a valid UAE residence visa, a valid Emirates ID, an original employment contract, or any other document evidencing the purpose for which the document will be used in the UAE.
- During the processing of a consular attestation application, the Embassy reserves the right to request additional supporting documents whenever deemed necessary.
